Proton Competition is a well-established German racing team that has built a strong reputation in endurance racing, particularly in the GT categories. The team has been a long-time participant in the FIA World Endurance Championship, as well as other prestigious endurance series.
Since 2023, Proton Competition has been competing in the top-tier Hypercar class of the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), marking a significant step forward in their program beyond the GT categories. They acquired a Porsche 963 LMDh car, allowing them to challenge for overall race victories alongside factory-backed teams.
