A Proton Competition é uma equipa de corridas alemã bem estabelecida que construiu uma forte reputação nas corridas de resistência, particularmente nas categorias GT. A equipa participa há muito tempo no Campeonato Mundial de Resistência da FIA, bem como noutras séries de resistência de prestígio.
Desde 2023, a Proton Competition tem vindo a competir na classe Hypercar de topo do Campeonato Mundial de Resistência da FIA (WEC), marcando um passo significativo no seu programa para além das categorias GT. Adquiriram um automóvel Porsche 963 LMDh, o que lhes permite lutar por vitórias na corrida geral ao lado de equipas apoiadas pela fábrica.
