Proton Competition ist ein etabliertes deutsches Rennteam, das sich im Langstreckenrennsport, insbesondere in den GT-Kategorien, einen Namen gemacht hat. Das Team nimmt seit langem an der FIA-Langstrecken-Weltmeisterschaft sowie an anderen renommierten Langstreckenserien teil.
Seit 2023 nimmt Proton Competition an der FIA-Langstrecken-Weltmeisterschaft (WEC) in der obersten Hypercar-Klasse teil und hat damit einen bedeutenden Schritt nach vorne in seinem Programm über die GT-Kategorien hinaus gemacht. Das Team erwarb ein Porsche 963 LMDh-Fahrzeug, mit dem es neben werksunterstützten Teams um Gesamtsiege kämpfen kann.
